This course focuses on essential algebraic concepts, including operations with integers, fractions, and decimals; order of operations; simplifying expressions; the distributive property; solving equations; polynomials; factoring; linear, quadratic, and exponential equations; and statistics and geometry from an algebraic perspective. Problem-solving and real-life applications are emphasized throughout. Key benefits include improved math performance, critical thinking, at-home learning resources, and increased confidence. This foundational course prepares students for success in high school math, advanced math and science studies, and success on the ACT and SAT. There will be a live online call with the instructor, Mr. Perdziola, every Sunday from 11am - 1pm. This will be time for students to join, ask questions, and go over the material in greater detail. The instructor will also be available to students to work one-on-one to assist with course concepts whenever needed.
